Tragic logging camp death at Luther Williams camp
Thomas Reokard died in a logging accident on Big Creek Middle Fork while saving his brother James Rookard from a jammed log line. Thomas, born August 12, 1875 in California, left a wife Laura J Houser and four children. Funeral held Monday by Rev Thos. Burklow at Enchanted Prairie Cemetery. internment attended by many friends.
