Fourth of July Celebration in Myrtle Point Draws Big Crowd

A large, orderly crowd enjoyed a full day of events from a dawn salute to fireworks. The program featured a Goddess of Liberty wagon parade, a main address by Rev. R. H. Pierson, and a ball at night. Field sports, a North Bend vs Myrtle Point baseball game, races, and a grand fireworks display rounded out the celebration.
