English report describes a January riot in St Petersburg where workers and monks clashed with soldiers after petitioning the Emperor. Rioting left many dead or wounded. authorities faced a chaotic scene with priests kneeling amid the turmoil.
Mrs Cassa A Endicott widow of J J Endicott died at her home in Myrtle Point on Thursday Jan 26 1905 after a short illness. She was born in 1833 in Kentucky and lived in Indiana Illinois Missouri before moving to Myrtle Point in 1889. She leaves a husband twelve living children and other relatives. Funeral services were held at the Christian Church with burial in Myrtle Point cemetery.
