Coos County Circuit Court Adjourns After Convictions
During the December January term four persons in Coos County were convicted of crimes against the state. W N J Leaton Eastside recorder was taken to Salem. Frank Vaughn new to the county was convicted of horse stealing and sentenced to one to five years. W C Spencer pleaded guilty to forging checks and received a penitentiary term. Mrs Lottie Capions convicted of attempting to kill Elmer Parkinson was sentenced six months to ten years. Sheriff Gage left with the three prisoners via Drain for Salem.
