Death records show Rev J Su a aged 74 months and 18 days at Medford residence on January 18. Born 1887 in Alpha Indiana he moved to Oregon in 1851 with parents settling in Yamhill County. He later lived in Southern Oregon and once ran a Medford printing business. He served as pastor at Myrtle Point M E Church and was involved with the Coquille Herald.

George Francis Train traveler author and promoter of railroads and world tours died in New York Monday. He backed the Atlantic and Western Railroad and Pacific routes, ran for U S president in 1872, and earned fame for three world trips and lecturing. He was linked to Tacoma’s early Union Pacific interest and attempted a world circuit via Tacoma in 1890.
