Estabrook Boats Service Promotes Coastal Line

L L Brandenburg manager for the Estabrook Line in Oregon visited Bardon last Friday praising freight and passenger service on three steamers Speedwell Fifield and Bandon between Coquille river and California cities. The fleet runs from San Francisco to San Pedro and the company plans a new stunt to attract patrons.

Oaks Pavilion to Host First Season Game at New Hall

The Myrtle Point teams play their first game of the season at the Oaks Pavilion near the fair grounds this Friday night January 16 1914. The hall built by R C Dement is nearly ready with good capacity for spectators and special music planned. Admission is 25 cents.
