A stage coach turning over on a grade near Hansen's place above Remote sent driver and passengers into the river. One passenger Mr Reven suffered heavy bruising, another was lightly hurt, while the driver escaped unharmed. Horses were rescued and continued the drive. The wagon rolled over twice and only by luck were all spared serious injury.
Dr MO Stemmier formerly of Lind Washington marries Marie Barton of Lind in a ceremony led by Rey O W Mintser at Mrs W H Sutherland's rooms. The couple will reside in Myrtle Point Oregon with Dr Stemmier practicing there. The bride is noted as a prominent Lind lady and the community welcomes her move to Spokane Review.
