In Myrtle Point the well known Marcy was arrested in Bandon on a charge of stealing $28 from the Marsden saloon till. He was kept in custody due to illness and later sentenced to thirty days in the county jail after an appearance before the city recorder. He has long been linked to petty theft and heavy drinking.
