Coos Bay Area Eyes 4600 Kilowatt Power Plant Project

The Coquille Valley Power Company is preparing plans for a hydro power project to serve Coos County with a 4600 kilowatt capacity. The reservoir, fed by East Fork water, will supply the power station with two units and two wheels. Transmission lines will run to Myrtle Point, Marshfield, North Bend, and surrounding areas, enabling lighting and power across the county.
