Norton child seriously injured by falling firewood on Midge Fork
The five year old Billy Norton, son of Mr and Mrs W B Norton, was struck on the head by a block of firewood rolled down a hillside by his father on Tuesday afternoon near their home on the Midge Fork. He remained unconscious early today with slim chances of recovery as Dr Johnson and a nurse from Marshfield assisted. The family raised about 50 to 60 dollars to help care for him.
