Mine Accident Fatal at Riverton McGee Mine
John Turner a miner was killed by a falling rock in the McGee mine at Riverton on Tuesday afternoon. His partner Jim Lee heard the collapse but could not warn him. Turner formerly lived in Grants Pass and leaves a wife and two children. His body was sent to Roseburg for shipment to Coquille Sentinel.
