Early Monday the Arcata arrived from San Francisco, reviving memories of its Coos Bay to San Francisco trade era in the 1870s. The vessel carried 100 tons of freight along with 250 tons of coal and 200 tons of box shooks, sash and doors, 500000 shingles and 50 tons miscellaneous cargo under Captain Noren.
