The Myrtle Point council met December 4 1905 in the recorder’s office. Minutes from November 6 were approved. reports of the marshal treasurer and recorder read and accepted. Ordinances drafted on gun threats and dangerous animals. cigarette sales to minors enforcement. Light at Spruce and 4th granted. numerous bills listed. Ordinance No 6 passed levying 10 mills tax. warrants issued for road work. Nurserymen license fee set at 12 annually. adjourned.

City Cemetery Deed Records Urged for Proper Lots
City records before 1905 show no deeds issued for cemetery lots. About 184 lots have paid deeds. holders should bring deeds to the Recorder to be recorded or reissued. Those with old cemetery deeds should obtain new deeds for the new cemetery to prevent misplacement of graves.
