Holden Judge E D G Holden Dies in Coquille
Judge Holden known as justice of the peace in Coquille for eleven years died after paralysis at his home on August 20. Born February 18 1834 he was an Odd Fellows member for over forty years and a devout Methodist. Survived by C H Holden brother Henry S Holden son and daughter in Michigan the funeral at Coquille was held at 2 PM with Odd Fellows and Rev E R Evans officiating.
