Train Blown to Pieces in Oregon Wreck

An explosion destroyed a Southern Pacific freight train near Bendale Oregon about 4 30 PM. The wreck left 2192 empty freight cars and damaged melons powder and fruit plus other freight. The blast caused a fire that spread to dry brush and timber and injured a nearby woman. debris filled Cow Creek.
