Excursion to Bandon Draws Large Crowds and Fast Ball Game
A Myrtle Point crowd and others totaling about seventy five traveled by river boats to Bandon for a Sunday outing. The group enjoyed a ball game at the grounds, where Myrtle Point won 19 to 18 in a close nine inning clash. The Echo and Welcome steamers provided service on the route with swift trips and steady mail duties.
