At the annual city election C. A. Harrington and J. S. Whitaker were elected council men for three-year terms with Harrington at 85 votes and Whitaker at 72. Arrington was re-elected treasurer with 124 votes. Dodge won recorder with 124 votes.

The schedule for the Willamette Pacific route between Coos Bay and Eugene started April 8 5 with service under the construction division. Time cards Coos Bay to Powers await San Francisco traffic office approval and will start when received.
