Mrs Bessie Shellhorn 56 of Sweetland township died at Bellevue hospital at 9 45 p m Sunday after a four year illness. Born Grandview Jan 15 1882 she married Fred Shellhorn March 19 1902 in Muscatine. She was active in Methodist Episcopal church and Sunday school work at Fairport. Surviving are her husband two sisters Mildred Messier and Imogene Conley four relatives who lived in her home Harold Buster Raymond Buster Irma Smith Amos Smith. Burial at Greenwood cemetery with services at Hoffman Funeral church led by Rev Ralph Johnson New Era.
