Omaha Gas Dealer Sells It For 14.9
Gasoline in Omaha fell to 14.9 cents a gallon including two cents tax after a fractional cut by an independent dealer on Friday. The Standard Oil company of Nebraska had already reduced to 18 cents including tax, while H. M. Michel had sparked a gas war by posting low prices last year. Two other large dealers also cut to Standard’s price. The Hungarian government plans em 252 apartments in various cities.

City actions appoint sidewalks and halt sewer work on streets
The city instructed officials to halt work on the proposed sewer at Tenth and Lombard. It ordered sidewalks on Orange street between Eleventh and Maple and on Sycamore between Eighth and Tenth. A resolution to place a sidewalk in front of Lot 54 was adopted. Tax and Bond votes approved funding for Improvement District No 44 A and owners have until Oct 7 1925 to make first payment without interest. Warrants may be issued for extra grading in Improvement Districts 44 Series A B and C. The Attorney and Engineer were told to withhold sewer work and notify property owners to cut weeds along west Cook street.
