Ladies and misses can view over two hundred Paris style suits now ready for inspection. Nobby wool satin-lined models offered at prices from 10 to 50 dollars with colors and styles to fit every figure. The shop invites calls to view and purchase or see any preferred style at the lowest prices.
The Muscatine area shares a flurry of visits and gatherings. Mrs Hunn and Mrs Stoker receive support as out of town visitors arrive, while many attend the 35th Iowa reunion and Amos Schott funeral. Local clergy, German Lutheran Aid Society dinner, sales, and travel to nearby towns fill the day.

Local retailer advertises two dozen new style silk petticoats with a 24 inch dust ruffle and tucked seams. Regularly priced between five and five fifty dollars, Saturday offers drop to 3.98 with hundreds available in lower price ranges including Heatherbloom options up to 4.98.
Corsets and girdles offered in late style batiste in all sizes with a Saturday price of 35 cents per pair. Hundreds of other corsets priced from 50 cents to 3.98 with options from lightweight to silk styles, promoting comfort, durability, and value for large figures.
Fifty dozen pure lisle lace silk embroidered boot hose offered at 25c a pair on Saturday only. Manufacturer prices run 4.50 to 6.00 per dozen with common retail 50c to $1.50 a pair. Burson full fashioned black hose also on sale at 15c a pair or 1.75 a dozen, all sizes. Display window shows goods.
Two thousand yards of 40 inch Muslin and 49 inch sheeting offered Saturday only. Prices attractively set at 7 1/2 cents per yard for muslin and 38 cents per yard for nine quarter sheets. Limited quantities, come and see the dandy quality. Take what you want, no reservations.
A local ad promotes wall weight jackets in black or color at multiple price points from 3.98 to 10.00 with sizes 34 to 42 and lengths 25 to 50 inches. Long covert coats reach 52 inches priced up to 15.00, plus silk coats rain coats and cravenettes offered at 8.00 to 15.00. Call to view the new jackets and save money.
Saturday sale offers white waist sizes from lace front to embroidery. Navy blue waists at half price and girls and ladies waists cut from low prices. Silk and ecru lace waists, new styles, with values listed, all part of a large apparel sale.
Auction note states 1.25 each for odd lot lawn kimonos of all sizes. Items are described as easily worth 50c each, indicating a bargain sale with varied sizing and pricing.

C C Gardner traveling passenger agent for the Rock Island lines arranged a special train from Muscatine to Wilton for the Wilton fair on September 16 and 17. The car will depart Muscatine at 1 15 PM and stay until 6 30 PM with regular service also operating. The Rock Island Frisco lines will bring the exhibit car to Muscatine on September 12 for display near the passenger depot. F S White agricultural and horticultural commissioner will speak at 2 o clock on grains grasses fruits and other products displayed.
