Rev. B. C. Preston mails 60 sermon topics to 350 Muscatine men asking them to mark ten preferred subjects and return cards. The ten topics with the most marks will be chosen for Sunday night sermons, reflecting congregational wishes.
Rev J B Smith, recently called to the First Baptist church, Webster City, will assume charge on Sunday November 15 according to Z W Hutchinson who just returned from the Baptist state meeting at Iowa Falls. He spoke highly of Smith and his convention address.
