Bonds Released After Temporary Bonds For Liquor Nuisance
Everett Clay and Jack Hubble posted temporary bonds of 500 dollars each before Justice of the Peace Harold Wells in Davenport on federal charges of maintaining a liquor nuisance. Wells stood in for U S Commissioner Albert Block who is in Muscatine on court matters. Hubble’s hearing is set for 9 am Friday and Clay’s for December 4. Federal and state officers raided both places Tuesday night, seizing a quart of alcohol at each and finding a bottle of spiked beer at Clay’s. Officers in charge were W H Plasters and M C Burkhart, federal agents, and H F Johnson, state agent.

$25 000 Accident Suit Nears Verdict in Iowa Case
