The Reds, winners of the membership contest, will be guests of honor at a November 27 banquet hosted by the Colonel Hare Circle at Mrs. H. S. Howe's Hast Ninth Street home. Obsequies for Ira Carney were held yesterday at 2 p m from the First Baptist church with Rev J B Smith officiating. A quartet sang Some Blessed Day and Asleep with Jesus, and Macabees pallbearers included Thomas F Gleason Henry Kindler J Howell H Wells W Baker and F G Reighthauer Interment followed at Greenwood cemetery.
