Also discounted fabrics and home goods including oil cloth linoleum curtains and blankets.
Community notices invite a Wednesday church supper hosted by United Brethren ladies. Local ads promote fire insurance quotes from John A. Robbins and Iowa farm mortgages from Titus Loan & Investment Co. Bonds and loans offered with sums of at least $100, emphasizing Iowa investment options. W. R. Johnson of Davenport visits Muscatine.

The Sweetland Grange will host an open meeting and oyster supper at the M. B. A. hall in Sweetland on Wednesday evening November 11. The program includes a Grange song I Love the Dear Old Farm a recitation by Miss Hazel Miller a dialogue Betrothed by several members and a musical piece Four Discords by a group.
In Columbus Junction Iowa on November 18 John W Oats remains very low after weeks of illness. Relatives visiting and traveling to nearby towns include Mrs A McBride from Cotter and Mr H E Orr seeking hospital treatment in Iowa City. Other residents such as Miss Iva Tedford and Miss Mary Letts are noted in brief family and education related movements.
