Des Moines Iowa. Iowa's new board of control a quorum of two Republican members assumed jurisdiction today over the states 15 penal charitable and correctional institutions. David R McCreery and Roy Pullen took over the board after Gov George A Wilson dismissed all three predecessors. McCreery said the governor will appoint a third member a Democrat and the board will tour the institutions. State law requires the full three man board to visit all institutions once a year. The retiring board had not yet completed the six month tour ending July 1. Wilson dismissed the board on senate recommendations charging immorality neglect at five institutions.
