It also reports a July 1 merger of the U.S. Department of Agriculture Agricultural Research Service into a Nutrition Consumer and Industrial Use Research program led by George W. Irving Jr with Ruth Leverton and W D Maclay as advisers, and notes there are 14 489 600 square inches in a square mile.
