Masterful slam in hearts by South in a championship deal
In a four handed bidding and play from a championship game, six hearts were reached at both tables. At one table the declarer went down after a simple diamond lead finesse, while at the other the declarer executed a cunning sequence. South used trumps, ruffs and dummy plays to force East's discards, ultimately making six hearts to turn the result in his favor. South’s precise ruffing and timing neutralized East’s trump trick and yielded the win.
