WANT MEN AND BOYS ON FARM FOR WAR EFFORT
Through Secretary W B Wilson the United States department of Labor appeals to patriotic Americans urging men and boys to work on farms during the war with Germany. Postmaster Elchom will supply registry blanks for volunteers. Thousands of volunteers are sought, with the government planning in months to have patriotic farm help doing its part. Attractive posters will be placed in postoffice lobbies and distributed broadly to promote the movement. Those who cannot go to the front should join the home front effort to feed the army during European battles.
