Tremont hall hosted the seventh annual city high school commencement with original performances and flowered certificates presented by J. S. Patten, school board president. Three decades past a citizen meeting pledged relief for Grinnell tornado victims with substantial lumber and cash donations. Ten years ago June 22 fell on a Sunday.
