One day only on Saturday the Boston Store slashes fifty-two ready made white dresses to 2 1 2 dollars each. Dresses made of fine India linen trimmed with lace and embroidery, full skirts in all sizes, worth 5 dollars, now 2 50. Also features low prices on ladies and gents underwear and children’s undergarments in various styles and sizes.
Five hundred yards of imported French organdies in many shades offered at 15 cents per yard after a purchase at less than half price. Also over a hundred pieces of new wash goods at multiple price points from 5 to 49 cents per yard in a variety of styles.
Muscatine shoppers find deep discounts on stockings and silks. Saturday specials include ladies black silk lisle hose at half price, 40c hose for 25c, 9c fast black hose, and a wide array of silks and taffeta fabrics priced to attract bargain hunters.
The Boston Store offers five hundred lace curtain samples in white cream or ecru on Saturday June 22 at a fraction of manufacture cost. Full length curtains and half curtains worth up to six dollars per pair priced at 25 cents each. All items are 25c none higher.

Acme Packet Co magnate Captain W. S. Wisham in La Crosse says river business this year is poor due to bad weather but expects a strong 1907 season as summer brings better conditions. Boats W. W. and J. S. plan trips to St. Paul and Lansing IA with daily sailings and renewed confidence in river traffic. Local notices include state Young People meeting in Cedar Rapids and Muscatine coal bids from the school board.
Advertisement offers a home by G. M. Titus at 213 Iowa Ave available on a monthly installment plan. Down payment of three hundred dollars required to begin purchase.
