Juveniles, arrests mark Muscatine weekend police report
Muscatine police filed marijuana possession charges against three juveniles after a Saturday night motor vehicle accident at East 6th Street and Orange Street. The 17 year olds and a 16 year old were released to relatives pending juvenile actions. In separate events two men were arrested for driving off road in a state game area. James Rutherford, 19, Davenport, and Brian Wulf, 18, Blue Grass, faced limited details. Two people were jailed for public intoxication, Sharon Welsch and Pedro Puertas. Other reports included a contempt of court charge against Jose Sandoval and multiple weekend vehicle collisions with minor injuries and no injuries reported. Weather looked partly cloudy with warming trends into midweek.
