Woodmen Decide Milwaukee as 1905 Convention Site
The Modern Woodmen chose Milwaukee for the 1905 convention. Fifty thousand dollars were voted to aid flood sufferers in Kansas Missouri Illinois and Oregon. The readjustment committee failed to agree, placing the issue before delegates. Iowa plan 50 percent rise approved 215 to 166, defeating Young 171 to 208.

In Burlington Iowa on June 20 Elmer Anderson aged seven accidentally discharged a .22 rifle during a playful scuffle with Floyd Richter nine. The weapon was loaded and the incident proved fatal for Richter.

Fraternal Aid Association Holds Social Meeting
Last evening the Fraternal Aid Association of the city held its regular meeting with a social session afterward. M. M. Edminston of Indian Territory spoke on recent general council legislations affecting payments. An eight pair drill team led by E. C. Maxson performed neatly. About two hundred members attended and refreshments followed.
