Two men received minor injuries in a one car crash at 8 43 Friday evening police said resulting from drag racing on Park Ave headed south Michael R Askam 25 80 E 10th and Charles A Brade Rt 1 Nichols were treated and released at Muscatine General hospital Askam was charged with reckless driving Witnesses said Askam was drag racing with another car that could not be identified at the time of the report He slid into a utility pole causing 125 feet of skid marks Damaged items included about 2000 to Askams car 500 to the yard and bushes of Cora Knox and 700 to the municipal pole.
