Guaranteed jobs plan urged by Muscatine attorney Dave Stanley
Dave Stanley, Muscatine attorney and GOP candidate for State Representative, argued for welfare reform to move people from welfare to payrolls. He warned against a $6500 annual guaranteed income, urging targeted aid for the elderly disabled and mothers at home, and proposing work programs or government jobs as a last resort.
