Anchor Fence Low Bidder for Dam 16 Fence Contract
Anchor Fence submitted the apparent low bid of 1645.12 to the Rock Island office of the Corps of Engineers for 1026 feet of chain link fencing and two pales at Lock and Dam No 16. The work will be on the land side after the approach road is raised as part of the Drury Drainage District levee project. Fencing to be delivered to the Corps depot by July 25, 1961 and erected by Corps personnel. Seven bids were received, the highest 3469.80.
