Library Board May Change Fees for Rural Borrowers
The P M Musser public library board in Muscatine considers replacing the pay-as-you-borrow plan with a two dollar one year card for rural patrons. The move aims to boost revenue while city property tax funds support the library. Existing 10 cent per adult book and 5 cent per child book charges would be replaced by a single annual fee.
