Two Die As Motorcycle Plunges From Highway
In Muscatine county two local youths died and a third was injured when a motorcycle left Highway 61 near Fairport during dense fog. The riders, LaMoyne Gunnarson 26 and Franklin S. Thompson 18, died in hospital after separate injuries. Raymond Fuhlman 20 was treated and survived. All three were employees of Huttig Manufacturing and had been returning from Montpelier after a dance.
