Postponed again Harry Gay's preliminary hearing set for Tuesday
Harry Gay charged with murder of Arthur Meade will have a preliminary hearing next Tuesday afternoon. Defense witness W G Leedom cannot travel until early next week due to high water, and he plans to testify he sold Gay two Runnells tickets before the murder night. Additional defense and state witnesses are expected. Gay and officials returned to Muscatine last night after being stranded in Wilton.
