Few Will Be Drafted in New Army from Muscatine County
Muscatine County faces a small draft quota as officials estimate about 220 young men aged 21 to 30 may be subject to the draft, with credits given for those already volunteering or in service. Officials expect only around 20 to be drafted from the county, potentially reduced further as enlistees enter other branches or exemptions take effect before the draft date.
