Richard Martens and Mary Ann Bierman Martens received BA degrees at William Penn College in Oskaloosa. Presbyterian Women to Hear Visitors From Sudan and Indonesia
United Presbyterian Women of the First United Presbyterian Church will host Miss Mussaad of Sudan and Mrs. Abednego of Indonesia at a June 8 meeting at 1 30 p m. The guests, returning delegates from the National Meeting of United Presbyterian Women, will share their experiences and tour local UPW groups. Mrs. Abednego, a Java native and educator, aids in Indonesian women’s movements. Miss Mussaad leads women’s Bible training and programs in Khartoum.
