At a Monday meeting the Muscatine Park Commission received a $400 donation from the Holtz Dairy women’s softball team raised in a July 24 game to help tarp the field. They granted Weed Park use for the Great River Days bike race and outlined pool and ball field policies including staffing, admission, scheduling, and lighting for night games. Two officials will attend the Mid Continent Park Conference in Milwaukee August 10 to 12.
