Funeral services for David Moyer were conducted at Grace Reformed church in Conesville with Rev. J. W. Bechtel officiating. Interment followed in Conesville cemetery. Moyer, born 1819 in Pennsylvania, died February 27 1908 at age 89, leaving a large Iowa family including wife Martha and eleven children.
In Moscow Iowa on February 29 Emma Hain spent time with her mother Mrs Wildasin in Wilton. Several residents including Mr and Mrs Frank Marolf and Mr and Mrs Earl Hain took household goods machinery and stock to South Dakota. Mrs Frank Leimkuehler shows improvement after illness. Lee Smith traveled to Des Moines to buy an engine. An M E church meeting is planned for Sunday evening. Cedar river has no ice. Mrs Lucy Wildasin visits her daughter Mrs E Hain, and Mrs Harry Hain visits relatives in Wilton until Sunday.
