Austin woman charged in Muscatine fraud case
Minnesota woman Mary A. Getchell, 28, held on a Muscatine County warrant and brought to Muscatine Friday on charges of false drawing and uttering after police tied five checks totaling about 450 dollars to her Little York Illinois address. She posted a 1 000 dollar bond and faces a Tuesday court appearance. Police zufolge the checks were given to Radio Shack Woolworth's Park Avenue Sun Mart and JCPenney in Muscatine Mall during January. Police reported several other arrests and a break in plus thefts and an auto collision over the weekend.
