Iowa Bank Deposits Increase 16 Million in Past Year

Des Moines reports Iowa state banks now total 1,095 institutions with deposits rising by over sixteen million dollars in the past year. From November 23 to January 28 deposits grew by nearly 9.5 million, lifting total deposits to 816,362,099.43 while capital stock stands at 28,932,900. The increase since the last fall call amounts to 9,454,805.04, with a separate rise since February 5, 1913 of 25,169,442.59.
