Bride wore fur trimmed white brocade suit with pillbox hat corsage of red roses. 17 guests attended and reception followed in Muscatine. Groom employed with Iowa State Conservation Commission at Des Moines area. After short trip they will live at 491 N Main MX. Also noted is the silver wedding anniversary of Mr and Mrs Raymond Anson observing at home of Mrs and Mrs Floyd Park with extended family.
Miss Janet Deppey daughter of Mrs Henry Deppey and the late Mr Deppey wed Ross Ryland Mitchell son of Mrs John Mitchell and the late Mr Mitchell Saturday December 28 at 2 30 pm in the Maquoketa Methodist Church Rev Arthur Haltry officiated with a double ring ceremony. The bride wore an alencon lace gown with a chapel train and a pearl crown veil. Guests included 200 at a church reception with family and local and out of town relatives. After the ceremony the couple will live in Cedar Rapids beginning January 1.

The groom is grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Long and Louis Everett.
