Georgetown Kentucky reports Stephen G. Sharp testified after Gov Goebel was shot he offered to defend Governor W S Taylor and took charge of securing the building. Sharp also claimed three days earlier he learned prominent democrats planned two thousand guns to eject Taylor and other Republican officials, prompting state troops to be ready.
