Iowa Highway Commission seeks toll funds from bridge dispute
The Iowa Highway Commission filed a declaratory judgment suit in Scott County District Court to recover about 660000 in tolls from the Iowa Illinois Memorial Bridge between Bettendorf and Moline. The suit argues surplus tolls belong to Iowa and Illinois and that Davenport should not use funds for other than construction and maintenance. Illinois would accept the ruling per a mutual agreement.
