Muscatine falls 55 41 to Bettendorf in a key Little Six basketball battle. The Muskies trailed early, rallied briefly, but could not overcome the Bulldogs as the Presson twins led Bettendorf with 33 points and control of the boards. Scott Ingstad topped Muscatine with 14 points while Bettendorf’s Coogan added 10 off the bench. The Muskies head into a 20 day break before visiting Davenport Assumption on January 10 and Regina on January 14.

Bettendorf pulled away with the last four points as Muscatine fumbled away a chance to win. Larry Kaeding led MES with 14 points, Kyle Befirt added 11. Bettendorf shared scoring with five players between 8 and 10.
