Franklin School Christmas Program Delights Afternoon Audience
The Franklin School presented a multi grade Christmas program this afternoon. Fourth graders performed The Star of Bethlehem and The Brightest Star while Fifth graders staged Christmas Secreta. Sixth graders offered The Guest of Three Kings and The Greatest Day of All. Seventh grade presented Dickens Christmas Car. Eighth graders showcased Rourkgles Christmas and Glad Things.

The South’s smaller, individually owned button factories report rising work. At the Dierckp factory a large crystal has been added and motors installed to run machines. Large storage sheds and other improvements increase capacity and shift many workers from the larger plant to the smaller shops.

Albert Lintz married Miss Mabel Holliday yesterday afternoon at the fooilack The ceremony was performed by Justice of the Peace John Rowan. Attending were Mrs Lintzs daughter Mrs C W Holliday and friends of the couple. They will be housekeeping at once on a Nebraska tract.

Mittman School to Present a Program
Mittman school youth of this city will present a program Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock. The event, planned for weeks, will be held at 1419 Oregon street. The Roach and Musser Hose Company will host a dance following the program. Mrs Vanderlin of Des Moines and Mr and Mrs J B Reay of Grandview avenue are visiting relatives in town.
