Mrs Billie Walton of Davenport and Art Small of Iowa City were named as the 1st District coordinators of the Iowa Citizens for Muskie. The selections were announced by William F Sueppel, Iowa City, coordinating the Iowa campaign for Senator Ed Muskie of Maine. Youth Humbled by late night highway crash hospitalizes teen
An 18 year old Muscatine youth, Leslie Keith Drumm of Route 2, is hospitalized at Muscatine General Hospital after a 1:30 a.m. crash on highway 22 near Fairport. David Cooney, 17, of 110 Park Ave., and Steve Dierickx, 17, Route 2, suffered facial injuries and minor hurts and were treated then released. Doug McDonald, 17, Route 3, was not injured. The Muscatine County Sheriff's Department investigated the head on collision. Drumm’s condition report was unavailable.
